Audi Q8 e-tron  -  update 9th November 2022

Audi UK has updated their e-tron electric SUV and has renamed the car to Q8 e-tron.

The New Q8 e-tron can be equipped with a larger capacity 114kWh battery, with a range of up to 343 miles.  Three power variants are going to be available with all-wheel-drive. The Q8 50 e-tron will generate 340ps and a WLTP range of up to 281 miles (SUV) and up to 290 miles (Sportback) from a 95kWh battery.  The Q8 55 e-tron will then be fitted with a 114kWh battery, which generates 408ps and up to 330 miles WLTP range for the SUV and up to 343 miles for the Sportback.

SQ8 e-tron models will be driven by three electric motors, one on the front axle and two on the rear axle.  These motors deliver a peak power of 503ps and 973Nm of torque.  The WLTP electric range of the S models is up to 284 miles for the SUV and up to 295 miles for the Sportback.

Audi Q8 50 e-tron has a maximum charging of 150kW using a high-powered charging station.  Q8 55 e-tron and SQ8 e-tron increases the maximum charging up to 170kW. The larger battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in as little as 31 minutes.  Using an AC charger the Audi Q8 e-tron charges at up to 11kW.  There is also an optional AC charging upgrade of up to 22kW.

The New Audi Q8 e-tron will go on sale later in November 2022.  The first deliveries are estimated for April 2023.
